This is part two of a series of Video Tutorials that will show you how to create a video game using GameMaker Studio Free Edition.
Picking up from the last tutorial, we will be looking at manipulating the player sprite (the graphic used to represent our player). Specifically, how to make the sprite face the direction the player is moving. Plus we will look at a simple way to handle wall collisions.
If you are completely new video game development but have an understanding of programming, this course is for you.
The course puts focus on helping you finish a particular game. So instead of teaching you everything that GameMaker can do in one video, we will be learning concepts as we figure out what we want our game to do.
